Led by the Inspector General (IG), the mission of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is to conduct an advisory to the Global Fund Secretariat on its Internal Justice Mechanisms.
At the request of the Executive Director, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) will seek to advise the Secretariat on potential ways to improve its current Internal Justice Mechanisms (IJMs) and to strengthen the underlying enabling factors within the Secretariat, including targeted organizational culture traits. The review will take into consideration the business processes related to handling of misconduct claims and workplace disputes, the roles and interactions of the various actors involved in these processes and the management systems and tools currently adopted. More broadly, the review will branch-out to assess the conduciveness of the enabling factors to the establishment of a ‘righteous’ workplace. The audit team will need to contract a Senior Business analyst/Management consultant to assist them with this review.
