Job Description:
The Technical Analyst will support the MECA team in optimizing data visualization of different data sources and initiatives. This role will support mapping of available data, extraction, pooling and analysis, relevant dashboards and ensure consistency across MECA data visualization efforts.
The role will support analysis and visualization of data for existing MECA initiatives, included but not limited to COVID-19 monitoring and COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19 RM) funding and the MECA M&E dashboard.
Working in close collaboration with the COVID-19 Monitoring Specialist and other MECA team members,
the Technical Analyst will:
- assist in consolidating data used by and across MECA for analysis
- support data presentation across different MECA initiatives
- develop and maintain dashboards, support other data visualization
- respond to analytical enquiries.
The position requires good technical knowledge and experience in relational databases, data visualization and data analytics; public health; monitoring and evaluation of health programs; and familiarity with the Global Fund operation model.
